I have used many brands of NCVT over years since they came out. My favorite are the ones that use more common AA or AAA batteries like the southwire model does. It's much easier to replace these batteries that are more readily available.

Recently added the Klein NCVT-4IR.

To my tool kit, because it includes an IR thermometer and is detecting from 12 to 1000 V. So I do not have to carry a separate ir thermometer when travelling.

I’ve ordered a sample a few weeks ago but it hasn’t arrived yet.

I like my Southwire NCVT but my dog doesn't. The frequency of the loud tone drives him crazy, so at home I use my Klein Tools NCVT-1. It has a much more pleasing tone, even to my old ears, and it works well.
