Hi Mike,
I have a question for you. My Fluke VoltAlert died and I'd like to replace it. In one of your recent emails you mentioned that you have several non-contact voltage testers -- I'm wondering which one(s) you recommend.
Without any additional info I'd probably just get another Fluke, but I believe you said that the other brands were good also.
Thanks Mike - Sherman
Hey Sherman,
The Southwire 40150N works great and is what I use in my seminars. It’s dual range and has a flashlight in the back. Watch my video demonstration below. You can find it in many big box stores or on Amazon HERE.
Let’s play safe out there… Mike Sokol
I have used many brands of NCVT over years since they came out. My favorite are the ones that use more common AA or AAA batteries like the southwire model does. It's much easier to replace these batteries that are more readily available.
Mike, the link you gave to the Southwire NCVT doesn’t work, at least for me.
