Mike, I would like your take on the SoftStartup device that plugs into the power pedestal or external generator versus a soft start device like the Micro-air EasyStart that is wired directly into your air conditioner’s compressor circuitry. Since the SoftStartup is not directly attached to the air conditioner, how is it regulating the startup of the air conditioner’s compressor? Is it doing anything ultimately harmful or maybe undesirable to the air conditioner?
