Thanks Mike, for writing this excellent guide to electrical safety in the RV. I purchased this years ago and it still travels with us. There's a lot to learn when purchasing an RV and it all centers around electrical safety.
I'm surprised that they don't make a 90 degree cord entry into the plug to reduce strain and make it less likely someone will run into the plug! I sent them a message asking if one was planned.
My 2012 Arctic Fox has a permanently attached power cord. In order for me to use one of these great plugs would I have to disconnect my power cord from the existing setup and somehow install an outside plug? I think this is more for the folks who have the newer trailers where they have a 'roll of cord' that they have to plug into their trailer.

"Thanks for contacting us. Yes we are currently working on the 90 degree plug and will be out mid next year."

I’ve heard a rumor that there will soon be a right angle version. Let me confirm…
