My thoughts, if a shorter twist-lock cord that connects to the coach, yes, likely less expensive than a transfer switch and installation. If a hardwired cord connected to the coach, not a good idea as then when one cord is plugged into shore power or generator, the other cord prongs become energized.
Would not a second (shorter) shore power cable would be cheaper and easier than installing a transfer switch?
