Hi Mike: Reference the 50amp skinny cord at the Airstream International Rally. I re-read my comment and I did not SEE a skinny 50amp cord, but saw a picture shown to me by the in booth representative of Smart Plug and he stated that the new 50amp Skinny Cord would be introduced in the Spring of 2025 and that it could be coiled as easily as the 30amp he had in the booth and that it would also be available as a right angle hanging cord. So, either Smart Plug is telling you the part truth that they do not have one NOW, and might in the spring OR the representative was full of it. Everything they had in the booth when I was there was 30amp items. In either case it's what I was told and I had two other people with me who have since confirmed what we were told. It will be interesting to see in the spring. Thanks for your follow up.

This could be just a rep misunderstanding a product, but we’ll get to the bottom of this. I’ve been aware of the upcoming 90-degree SmartPlug for a while now, but I’m under an NDA and media embargo not to publish anything in advance. I’ll publish a review as soon as I can.

I am guessing thru your diligent follow up that it was NOT a SmartPlug employee but a local distributor rep, having hired them in my past life, and he did not give the right message. He did openly put forth exactly what I commented on, skinny easy to coil 25' 50amp smartplug cable and the right angled 50amp and 30amp cable.

I’m checking on it. This is exactly why manufacturers should hire me to train their show reps. Misinformation spreads like a wildfire…

Agree with your statement that show reps must be trained. When I ran a manufacturing company we started by having local distributors man the booths. Failed, so I had two managers who alternated and attended every show we were in nationwide. A pain, but stopped all misinformation from being given out. Appreciate your follow ups.
