Powering a 5th wheel with a small Predator generator
I just need to charge the batteries and run a few lights…
My FMCA Seminars March 12, 13, 14 - 2025
Here's the syllabus for my RVelectricity seminars at FMCA Expo in Perry, GA next week
Educating RV owners: Who will teach the teachers?
Is it a water leak or a noisy water heater element?
Could be a drip or an explosion!
Mardi Gras and Fasnachts
Time to enjoy this once a year treat!
Lightning season is beginning early this year!
Don’t take shelter under a tree during a storm. The safest place is in a building.
I bought a Surge Guard 44260. On the female “power out” socket, one set of blades is so tight that I can barely force a screwdriver in it. How can I pry it apart? My fear is that the power cord male blade is going in beside it. I’ve messaged the company and no response. Thank you for any suggestions you might have.
I have a 4000 watt /30 amp generator. My friend has a 5th wheel camper with a 50 amp cord. I have seen adaptors from 30 to 50 amps. What kind of problems could arise if this were used, as long as a 30amp draw was not exceeded?
