Don't you think that the stage manager or the dancer herself should have told you about her disability before hand? That would have made all the difference.

Remember, there were a bunch of acts being rehearsed during the day, and most of my time was at the mixing console in the back of the room. I had an assistant A2 monitor engineer who was onstage setting microphones, so I would only walk to the stage to confer with my A2 for major set changes. Nobody noted on my production notes that there was a blind dancer. Live sound production can be a bit crazy.
