Thanks Mike for giving us an article a day since you started this blog. I’d say that’s a great example of giving it your best shot. Beyond that, I’ve heard it said that the difference between a good baseball player and a great one is consistency in their level of performance over many years. This applies to most sports and professions for that matter. You have delivered excellent content consistently for the whole time you have been writing your blog. Good on you Mike! It was at Club Xhale outside of town on the east side, IIRC. But it’s been closed at least 20 years. It shared a parking lot with a gymnasium, and we had a bunch of weightlifters for load-in crew.
