Looks like street price is around $60 at the big box stores which is quite reasonable if it works as advertised. This would also be good for house and RV inspectors.
My question is what happens when I plug the outlet test cable into a 15-to-30 amp dogbone adapter that's miswired as 2-pole/240-volts. This happens a lot more than you might think, especially when a residential electrician adds a 30-amp pedestal outlet on your house to power an RV in your backyard.
If you’re referring to the NEMA 15 plug adapter that plugs into the 270 meter, I don’t think so. 🔌
If you look at the input jacks on the 270 the left most input jack is the EGC ground connection. I believe the CL 800 has only two probe jacks on the bottom for voltage measurements.

That’s true… but at least it has a loud noise that will stop when you turn off the correct breaker.
They may already be available in Lowe’s and Home Depot…

I like the find feature, and the AC plug adapter.
This new product looks like it will be very handy in trouble shooting electrical issues and testing battery voltage. Keep up the good work.
Just purchased Klein CL 800 CLAMP meter. Is the recepticle tester of the 270 meter usable with the CL 800 meter?

'Find' mode looks pretty lame compared to the Klein 80016 Circuit Breaker Finder Tool Kit. All else looks good.
Wonder if they will be available in time for Christmas? :)
This looks very interesting. Looking forward to your evaluation.
