Nice set of generator articles. I would suggest an addition to the discussion about onboard generators and transfer switches: some current and former rental class C motorhomes with built in generators do not have transfer switches, however the coach design makes back feeding into the power grid impossible. On these coaches in the storage compartment for the power cord there is a 30 amp receptacle powered by the generator, if you want power from the generator the coach power cord is plugged into this outlet, if you want to utilize shore power the coach cord is plugged into the shore power pole.
Quite an impressive library of articles Mike! Kudos to you! Now we need some kind of subject index so we can find specific tidbits and know the best places to look to answer questions as the titles do share many similarities. Could this be something AI can help with or are there programs out there for making this task easier?
I'm way ahead of you. I have been researching alternative platforms that would allow a library function. Right now, ghost.org is the best candidate since it allows for an easy migration from SubStack, and has additional features that will help keep everything organized for readers.
Not surprised to hear you are already on it Mike! And glad to hear there is a way to integrate with Substack although not sure what this means. I would guess hyper-links of some kind between the index and your articles? I would guess your articles span many years and platforms. Does it allow you to bridge your various platforms you have published on?
One of the challenges is that I have hundreds of existing posts on dozens of RV forums that are essentially full articles. So I need a way to identify and scrape these posts into a holding area, update and fact-check each one, and then republish them on my own website with a library reference. I’m hoping to automate as much of this as possible for obvious reasons.

Good idea. I call the plug & play method a Manual Transfer Switch…. 😄
