What if I tried creating a weekly digest on Sundays? Then if there was a way to select either or both options that would work…

Once a week sounds good to me

Individual articles/videos are easier to consume. I am more likely to take a look every day than to try to catch everything once a week.

Same for me, but I’m willing to publish both a daily blog plus a weekly digest if possible.

The weekly option would be nice so that we could choose what meets our needs. Thanks

There’s no automatic way to do this in SubStack, but I have an idea.

I just read you in the Substack app, so I see new articles as you post them. I think you should just recommend that folks get the app, and have done.

If you want an RV, odds are you are going to end up needing to have things fixed shortly after you buy it and for the lifetime of the RV, or at least until you get everything fixed. Some of those are going to be electrical, and the electrical system of an RV is different on every RV, sometimes even on the ones that are in the same make and model and year. The only way to know what’s going on with that when you have a problem, is either take it to the shop, hire a mobile tech, or ask Mike. Given the fact that everybody has a line to get in to get any kind of service done on an RV, asking Mike is undoubtedly not only a better solution but probably far quicker ! Besides, he probably knows more than what most dealer technicians could ever learn, I would bet.

Mike, I voted for the weekly digest, but I don't think it's "better" which is what the question asked. I think it's "better" to have both options. I disagree with those that say a digest is too much information to "digest" (pun intended), just scan what you're interested in and ignore the rest. :)

I’m trying for both options

I'd prefer the weekly, however I will gladly accept whatever you decide. Merry Christmas!!

Possibly the server could handle allowing each subscriber their individual choice. You could publish the articles daily and the server could be scripted to automatically consolidate the last 7 articles on a weekly basis.

That’s what I’ve asked SubStack tech support to do. It would be a great feature set to add.

I agree with Mark Sampson. Everyday is a better option for me but if it goes to weekly, I'm on board for that too.

I’ll offer both options if I can…

Either way, if you make sure the topic(s) is in the first line, so notification banners and such let us know easily if it is a topic we need to explore deeper.

I just bought your “No shock zone” on Kindle. Fits perfectly on my eShelf in the RV. Thanks for all you do Mike.

I like the idea of daily, weekly, and an index of your published articles for future reference and sharing. That may be too much work for you but selfishly, I love flexibility. Thanks for all you do Mike!

In general weekly is better because you can include more discussions topics. However - if there is an urgent need to release something mid-week because of relevance or emergency then please do so!

Always appreciate what you have to say.

Thank you!

Great question. I have enjoyed the daily and keep up with them whenever possible. I am not sure about trying to keep up with all at once but understand that side of the equation would ease the daily file of the thirty or so I get. I can go either way.

It would suite me if it was daily as all of Mikes articles are of interest. Not saying I totally understand them, I just find them interesting & I usually learn something from each article. Looking at the tally of votes, looks like I'm out voted in favor of weekly!

Thank Mike for keeping us all safe

Happy holidays to you & your family

Even if I create a weekly digest I would still publish a daily newsletter. I just want a way for readers to choose daily, weekly or both.

A weekly epistle will be too much material to absorb. People will just pass on by.. better to reduce frequency, say 3x per week, Monday, Wednesday, Friday?
