Mike, I have a Davy Crockett pellet grill by Green Mountain Grills. It's a 'portable size'; for example the legs fold up and it has a carry bag. The best part, however, is that it runs on 12v. It comes with a power brick so you can bring 120 down to 12, but it also has a cig lighter end to run it direct on 12v. I love this while boondocking, as it saves the inverter and power brick losses. After the 5 min or so ignition time, it uses very little power and my lithium batteries don't even seem to notice it is running.
