I have a Breville Dual Boiler espresso machine. It runs for under hour per day. Hooking it to my Killawatt I recorded high wattage of 1,469 when heating the boilers, low of 0.1 when idling, and 0.403 kWh to brew two double cappuccinos and steam the milk.

Thanks Mike. And loved your center-fold pose with the Jackery solar panels! They should add that to their commercials.

I tested my jackery 1000 awhile back on an instant pot making rice for 12 minutes. It worked well, but I don’t remember the watts left when it was done but it did drain it quite a bit. Thank you for all the great information.

Great test! And I think that an Instant Pot would draw even more Watt-Hrs of energy making a stew or chicken. If Instant Pot will send me one to try I’ll do a demonstration…

Mike, I admire your enthusiasm. Your desire, over the years, to share your knowledge is admirable. However, do you have a weekly digest option?

PS, At one point, I think I paid Mike bucks, or some modest contribution. If so, may I be a 'paid' member?
