I keep two Anker PowerCore 26800 Portable Charger, 26800mAh batteries available for power outtages to recharge our phones. I used to keep a landline after the massive east coat black out a number of years ago, because I was one of the few with a phone as phones and cell towers ran out of power. While it doesn't stop the cell towers from running out of propane for their generators, at least my phone stays operating! These batteries will recharge it 4-6 times!
We have thought about roof mounted solar panels. However, Renogy does not reccomend this due to hail storms in Arizona. What do you think?
