That being said, I use 50% State of Charge rather than a specific voltage since that voltage level is different for each battery chemistry.

As you know I am not a paid subscriber. I would like to be but lack of funds.
My comment is do not use the 50%, instead state do not discharge batteries below 11.9 volts, which is 50% discharge.
