Good reminder about protection. I would also point out, remember to check your gloves before use. I had a friend who did not notice a small tear in his. When he came to in the ambulance he remarked " That was a shocker". He had a nice scar to remind him from then on!
Remember the twist o flex watchband? When I was an apprentice (74) I had a trainer who had xxxx scarring around his wrist from a large forklift battery. Also saw a safety movie about not wearing a ring when climbing ladders. Lose footing, grab hard on the edge of a rung, ring can grab & tear finger. the examples were not pretty.
Just curious, is there a reason you recommended this brand of gloves? Are you familiar with them or tested them? A quick look on Amazon and I can get 400V gloves for half the price, or 3-5x the price. I'll take the $7 ones if there isn't any difference vs the recommended ones.
I tried a pair of the cheaper $7 gloves first, and they were much stiffer and difficult to handle tools. I recommended the second pair I bought which were flexible enough to use with hand tools. I’m sure there’s other brands that are as good or better, but this wasn’t an exhaustive test. I found these gloves on my second try.

Have your wedding ring cut off and resize.

Perfect thanks. So I'll get them on my first. ;-)
12vdc across any high amp circuit will do the same. I always remove my ring.
Great advice, despite my USAF training, which I forgot I appreciate the post and ordered the gloves.
