Two Live Webcasts Yesterday!
I streamed private webcasts to both RV technicians and Airstream Club International on the same day...
Everyone,
Some 25 years ago I began teaching technology seminars around the country. This required driving 40k miles and flying up to 100k miles per year. It was the only way to teach advanced 5.1 surround sound mixing and live sound for worship to 50 sites per year. I spent most of my time driving across the country, and put 400,000 miles on my Sprinter van over 10 years. But I was a guest instructor at dozens of major universities (Peabody, Berkeley, Tempe Conservatory, etc…) as well as AES, NAMM, SBE groups and some of the largest churches in the country.
Thanks, high speed Internet…
But now that high speed Internet is available nearly everywhere, and just about everyone has a computer or smartphone, my webcast seminars offer a way for me to teach interactive technology seminars around the country without all the windshield time. That’s how I taught two different nationwide seminars on the same day!
RV Technician: 10-Part Series on RV electrical systems
Yesterday morning I taught Part 2 of my 10-Part RVelectricity series for RV technicians. Live Webcasting lets me teach to scores of technicians in dozens of RV dealerships at the same time, all without the costs and lost time for both the technicians and me traveling to a central teaching spot.
Airstream Club International: Lithium Battery Basics
Then yesterday afternoon I taught a live streaming webcast on upgrading to Lithium Batteries for Airstream Club International. I had 250+ Club memebers watching and asking questions at the same time, which ended up with an extra hour of live Q&A at the end of the webcast.
I can do a live webcast for your RV group in 2024
But my sponsorship money has gone away for 2024. And while this looks easy, a single 1-hour webcast takes me at least 10 hours of preparation time. So for 2024 I’ll need to begin charging RV groups directly for these webcast seminars. But it’s certainly a lot cheaper than flying me to Seattle from Maryland and paying for hotel rooms and a rental car. So if you might be interested in an RVelectricity webcast for your RV group or Dealership you can reply back to this article or email mike at noshockzone dot org with your contact information to discuss.
Let’s play safe out there… Mike
