RVelectricity seminars in January!
Yes, I'm back on the road again teaching electrical theory and safety
After a 2-year hiatus of teaching live RVelectricity seminars on the road, I now have actual in-person seminars to report. While I do enjoy doing Zoom and Ecamm Webinars, I find that getting in a room with hundreds of RV owners eager to learn about electricity is really exciting. Guess it goes back to my days of playing in big rock bands with huge sound systems that I designed and built myself (of course).
For example, here’s what my Master Class at the RVillage Rally in Florida looked like a pre-pandemic. I had 325 attendees per day for 3 days in a row. Plus I didn’t have to buy my own drinks at the bar since I had a long line of attendees who wanted to buy me a beer and ask a question. I think that’s fair, don’t you?
Boston RV Show - January 14 and 15, 2023
I was there in 2020 and here’s what it looked like. Two days of full classes followed by tons of questions in the hallway. So this year we’re going to add an “Just Ask Mike” table out in the hall which we’ll video record for later webcasting. Should be fun!
Saturday, Jan 14
11AM - Understanding RV Electricity
3PM - Evaluating EV Trucks for Towing
Sunday, Jan 15
10AM - Understanding RV Electricity
Quartzsite RV Show - January 27, 2023
Here’s the big one, which I’ve never attended physically. But I was there last year virtually with the help of Tony Barthel. This year I’ll be there in the flesh for two days teaching at least one RVelectricity seminar, as well as doing a few live webcasts with Tony.
Friday, Jan 27
3PM - Campground pedestal voltage test and hot-skin dangers
Coming to your RV show or Rally?
I have the time to attend perhaps a dozen RV shows and Rallies in 2023. I’m already booked for the Hershey Show in September, and I plan on attending the FROG Rally in Goshen in July. But that leaves around 8 empty slots that need to be filled. I do have some sponsorship money to help defray my travel costs, so if you get in early enough this could be done with a minimal cost to you. So if you’re interested in possibly hosting an RVelectricity seminar or two at your RV Show or Rally, please contact me at jmichaelsokol@icloud.com and let’s discuss details.
See you on the road!
Enjoyed the pic from the RVillage Rally. Was the first and last rally my Lady Friend attended thanks to Covid and now Long Covid. Was great meeting you!
