I’m trying to get a handle on the number of RVers who use 30-amp or 50-amp shore power, or who mostly boondock off-grid on Solar/Battery power. Please take this survey below. If you power your RV some other way please let me know in the comments.
What have I been doing for the last 6 months?
Since I started this RVelectricity SubStack blog 6 moths ago in mid-November 2022, things have been going great. It’s already had over 1.8 million views, with an average of 10,000 views per day. Wow!
Last week it had 12,546 subscribers, with 185 of you being paid subscribers of $5 per month or $50 per year. Again, Wow! And a huge THANKS to all subscribers, both free and paid!
Note that I never withhold any of my posts from anyone, so both paid and free subscribers alike get all the articles I’m cranking out and republishing. I really do appreciate your monetary support, but that’s not required. However, If you can afford a paid subscription, that helps me spend more time on these RVelectricity articles. In any case, please share these RVe articles with everyone you know who has an RV.
Speaking of articles, at last count I’ve published 160+ articles in 6 months, so I’m well on my way to posting 300+ articles per year. There’s lots to write about and I enjoy writing a lot…

I have used 20, 30, 50 amps and have also boondocked. My motorhome is wired for 50 amps, but unless it is too hot to do without AC, I can live with any of them. I am not sure what this survey is looking for.
At home just use a 15 amp plug to keep battery charged and frig cold.
