As many of you already know, I really like to teach technology seminars. At heart I’m actually a teacher, and I love teaching technology. In fact, long before I ever published articles or taught an RVelectricity seminar for the RV industry I did hundreds of on-site seminars on 5.1 surround-sound mixing, and live worship sound. In fact over a 10 year period I drove 450,000 miles in a Sprinter Van crisscrossing the country.

And I was just beginning to start teaching RVelectricity seminars around the country 5 years ago. These seminars were always packed with full attendance and sometime spanned multiple days. But then Covid hit and most RV rallies and seminars went dark for two years.

When one door closes, another one opens…

But I was in luck since I’ve taught audio/video production at a university level for years, and I already had plenty of video cameras, lights, green screens, microphones and most of all, techniques. So I converted my live RVelectricity seminars into Zoom seminars and began offering them in late 2020. Here’s my humble but very capable seminar studio where I now teach Zoom classes around the world.

Since Zoom is now so common and works so well, I’m now able to offer a variety of RVelectricity virtual seminars to rallies and shows that would never have been possible due to distance. That’s because instead of having to pay for a flight from Maryland to Seattle plus a hotel room and rental car for several days, I just step into my FunkWorks Lab Studio and turn on the lights.

I’m now offering FREE virtual seminars to your RV rally or show in 2023. I have a number of sponsors such as Southwire who will defray my production costs, so these virtual seminars won’t cost you anything. But you do need to have at least 50 of your group members who are interested in attending a virtual seminar online, or be able to set up a computer and video screen in a demo room at your rally location.
