Mike, driving a piece of metal into the ground, from what you've said in the past, is really to provide a way for a lightning strike to travel to earth. This is different from equipment grounding, which is part of what the utility company provides. These are two unrelated things, correct?

Mike, I think you may recall the issue was having with my larger Predator Inverter Generator when my EMS (Watchdog) would not work with it because it detected grounding issues -- even using a bonding plug -- but worked fine after I grounded the generator directly to the RV frame.

Any idea why that happened?

The originator of the above question with their Predator may have to do similar.

For what it's worth, there was a ground location right above my generator in the front compartment of my fifth wheel, I believe for the propane pipe that crossed over between the two outboard tanks.
