Be ready for the next power outage!
I revisit the review of my favorite cell phone charging brick…
Cell Phone Charging
I’ve been testing an INIU Portable Charger for the last 10 months, and it’s still working great! It has 22.5W output and 20000 mAh capacity which should be able to completely recharge a smartphone at least 4 to 5 times. That suggests you should be able to keep your smartphone operating for over a week, even with heavy use. Best of all it’s only $30 on Amazon!
My own testing…
I’ve tested the INIU Charger on my own iPhone 12 and found it could recharge my cell phone from 5% to 95% battery power in less than 90 minutes using a USB-C to Lightning cable.
I’ve done this at least once or twice a week for 12 months, plus I took it on a family vacation to Italy where we used it daily. We even made a few friends who needed a quick charge on their cell phones. - Prego!
And it indeed used only 20% of the INIU Charger battery power for a full iPhone recharge. So it appears that 4 to 5 smartphone charges from a fully charged INUI seems reasonable. The only downside is this Charger is a little heavy since it has a lot of batteries. So don’t plan on slipping it into your shirt pocket. But it works in a jacket pocket just fine.
Ports galore!
This Portable Charger has 3 charging ports (2 USB-A and 1 USB-C) so you can charge up to 3 cell phones at the same time. And the USB-C port is bi-directional, so you can recharge its battery bank in a few hours with a 20-watt wall charger.
Be prepared for a power outage
I think that being prepared for any power outage is vitally important, and here’s a way to help keep your lines of communication up and running for around $30. It’s a winner!
You can buy one here on Amazon…
Let’s play stay safe out there…. Mike
I was thinking "that looks good maybe i'll get one" then I remembered in each car I have one of the bigger car jump start battery packs that have USB on them also. If we have a power failure I have 3 of those to keep me charged.
OK but why not just get a drill battery USB adapter like this one. I already have 6 Ryobi batteries so I would be good for a month. https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-ONE-18V-Lithium-Ion-Portable-Power-Source-P743/311937362?g_store=&source=shoppingads&locale=en-US&pla&utm_source=google&utm_medium=vantage&utm_campaign=23678&utm_content=25331&mtc=SHOPPING-RM-RMP-GGL-D25P-Multi-NA-RYOBI_3338-NA-PMAX-NA-NA-MK862139001-23678-NBR-3338-NA-VNT-FY24Q1_Q4_RYOBI_D25P_RM__AON_CPT&cm_mmc=SHOPPING-RM-RMP-GGL-D25P-Multi-NA-RYOBI_3338-NA-PMAX-NA-NA-MK862139001-23678-NBR-3338-NA-VNT-FY24Q1_Q4_RYOBI_D25P_RM__AON_CPT-71700000117265670--&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwiOy1BhDCARIsADGvQnAo6bSfb9FP_nwf9D64HP4Kf1QihyYtcN9Lhlj-eAmOQQCno9YBMlQaAk_sEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
