Hey Mike,
In the article you had devices for checking 20-amp plugs. One showed voltage when inserted and one had lights to show proper or improper wiring of the outlet. I tried going to noshockzone.org just now to see if all your articles that come to me in email were there but there is maintenance on that site. Will it be operational soon?
Thanks - Ed F.
Hey Ed,
There’s lots of ways to test a 30-amp outlet for proper voltage and polarity, but this is perhaps the simplest method I have come up with. Click below for a short video on how to do it…
As far as my NoShockzone (dot) org and RVelectricity (dot) com websites are concerned, I’m working on upgrading them this winter. My plan is to turn one of them into a library wtih my thousands of previously published articles, and the other into a training site for technicians and advanced RV owners. But I’ve been so busy doing lab testing this summer as well as keeping up with this new SubStack Newsletter that there’s been very little extra time. I’ll keep you all posted as these websites progress.
