I’m doing a training session tomorrow for RV technicians on campground power distribution which includes how 3-phase power works. This is a short 1-minute video I made a few years ago demonstrating how to determine phase rotation of 3-phase 120/208 Volt service.

Yes, this looks like a bit of a wiring mess, but prototype work isn’t pretty. I’m putting this into a portable case for easy training.

Kids, don’t try this at home. It makes 3-phase power at 100mA per phase in all flavors of Delta and Wye service up to 480/277 Volts…
